Weather likely to change from Monday onwards, mercury to take a dip

Ranchi : For yet another occasion the weather in the state is likely to witness a change from Monday onwards.

As per the predictions made by the local MET office from December 28  the weather will see change as the hilly states are expected to witness fresh snowfall whose impact will be seen in the state over the course of the next few days.

Scientist at Ranchi MET department Abhishek Anand said that the cold winds from Kashmir will not only decrease the temperature but will also lead to cold waves sweeping across the state, however during this period the sky will mostly remain clear. 

In the last 24 hours Daltonganj turned out to be the coolest and warmest with a minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees while the maximum was recorded above 27 degrees.
