Daltonganj (RP Service): Unidentified bike-borne miscreants looted a sum of Rs 9.22 lakh from employees of a private finance company under Daltonganj Town Police Station area of the Palamu district. Police sources said that branch manager of Bharat Finance Inclosing Ltd Upendra Kumar along with his co-worker was going to a Bank of India branch located in the main market deposit the money when their vehicle was hit from behind by a couple of motorcyclists.
Post the incident a heated argument broke out between the men and sensing opportunity of the criminals snatched the bag carrying the money and fled from the spot after which the police was alerted. Upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and inquired into the incident. Police suspected the entire incident to be suspicious, a further probe was on.
