Raghubar directs to complete Sahibganj Port work by February 2019

Sahibganj (By our correspondent): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das inspected the construction work of the multi-model ship terminal being built at Ganga river along with the bridge which is being constructed in that district. During the course of the review,
the Chief Minister collected information from the officials of the waterways authority and the district administration regarding the port, bridge, four land roads, ship repair center, retaining center and construction of other infrastructure activities. 

The officials of the waterways authority and the company constructing the port said that 80 per cent work has been completed over which the Chief Minister said that no compromise should be made on the quality of the work and construction should be completed by February 2019. The officials apprised that the work of construction of the four lands was on and an NOC has been sought from the railways which is expected to be approved soon.
