1 dead, another dozen injured as bus falls from bridge on NH-33

Ranchi (RP Service): A person lost his life while another 12 sustained injuries as a bus met with an accident on the NH-33 under Ichagarh Police Station area of this district on Monday. Police sources said that the bus was going to Jamshedpur from Gaya. Police quoting eyewitnesses said that driver of the bus was driving the vehicle at a very high speed over it was also overloaded. As soon as the bus reached upon the bridge the driver lost control due to which the bus fell 15 feet below the bridge.

The deceased has been identified as Hari Chowdhary, a resident of Jamshedpur. Upon receiving information police teams reached on the spot and with the help of the locals rushed the victims to the hospital. Later a crane was used to take out the bus from the spot.
