Youth of Jharkhand will realize the goal of Start Up India: Sarvesh Singhal

Ranchi, Aug 28 (By correspondent): Special Secretary of the IT and E-governance Department Sarvesh Singhal has defined the Startup-India Jharkhand Yatra 2018 as a success which has helped to encourage start-ups and
also select new ideas.

Addressing the Startup-India Jharkhand Yatra 2018 he said that youth of Jharkhand will realize the goal of Start-Up India and said that there was no dearth of talent in the youth of the state all the needed was an idea and brush up their talent. He said that the state government was committed to encourage startup and was standing together with the youths of the state. Mr Singhal said that Chief Minister Raghubar Das had started the programme on August 13, 2018 during which the startup van travelled across various districts of the state and reached the different educational institutions.

As part of initiative in the first phase through bootcamps the idea was selected. He said that 5,000 people had done their registration in the bootcamp and more than 500 ideas were pitched up out of which 122 ideas were selected for two day acceleration programme and the selected idea was presented before the judge of the grand finale after 13 best ideas were selected who were felicitated by incubation space and incentive resource partner. Speaking on the occasion Director IT and E-governance Umesh Pratap Sah said that start up is not a short-term investment but is a long-term commitment. He said that the programme was a success as during it many startups came which was important for the bright future of the children. He said that under the startup policy the government was committed to develop budding startups.
