One lakh youth to get jobs on January 12 says CM at Jan Chaupal in Barhet

Sahibganj (By our correspondent): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that on January 12, 2019 one lakh youth of the state would be provided jobs. Addressing the villagers at Khijurkhal Panchayat of Barhet block of this district he said that the state government has set aside a sum of Rs 700 crore for the skill development of the youth. He asked the youth to get in touch with the
DC of their respective areas and get them trained as they would be provided training as per the need of the time. Mr Das said that since he himself has been through the pains of poverty, therefore, to bring a smile on the people had decided to organize Jan Chaupals and listen to the problems of the people.

The Chief Minister said that Santhal Pargana was the land of the braves where the great sons started the war for independence. He said that martyrs had seen a dream of having a prosperous and happy Santhal Pargan but somehow their dreams have been left behind and as time went by the middlemen took over the entire area. He said that purpouse of the Jan Chaupal is that all round development of Santhal Pargana takes place and the area is made free from middlemen.

Over the issue of drinking water in Pahadia villages, he said that foundations have been laid for drinking water supply schemes worth Rs 34.92 lakh after which in four months time water would be reaching in their homes. He said that similar work has been done in Latehar district and soon it would be inaugurated as the government has set a target to ensure that water reaches in all the homes by 2022 through a pipeline.

Adding further the Chief Minister said in 2018 power would be reaching all the homes and pointed that in Barhet transmission lines of 233 kilometers have been laid while power has reached in 46,155 homes and 10,709 connections have been given under the Saubhagya Yojana. A girl said that she had completed her B Sc and was after joining with Sakhi Mandals her economic condition was improved over which Mr Das asked her to study further and said that for the betterment of the girls the state government was launching Sukanya Yojana from January 1 under which after a girl is born money would be deposited in her account and further money would be deposited at regular intervals and after the girl turns 18 the girl can withdraw the entire sum provided that the girl remains un-married as the state government wanted to prevent child marriages and also make the girls educated. 

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand was making rapid progress in agriculture and against a minus 4.5 percent growth rate the progress in agriculture has increased by 14 percent for which only the farmers of the state are responsible. He said that in the food processing sector Jharkhand was making giant steps in the globe however the present day there was a need for organic farming. He said that due to the use of fertilizers the people are falling ill and said that in future organic farm clusters would be formed to promote organic farming and the products would be provided international market by the state government.

Mr Das said in honey cultivation Jharkhand is also making huge steps as Patanjali would be setting a food processing plant in the state after which the income of the farmers would be doubled as the farmers have set a target to increase the income of the farmer four times by 2022.
