Daltonganj (RP Service): An ultra of the CPI (Maoists) who was carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head has been arrested from Lesligunj Police Station area of the Palamu district. Addressing a press conference here Palamu SP Inderjeet Mahtha said that the arrested has been identified as Harihar Yadav.
He said that police has received a secret tip-off that the ultra had come to his home located in Bhalmanda after which a team led by ASP Operations was formed which conducted the raids and arrested the ultra. The SP said that the man was on a run for the last several years and three cases are registered against Yadav in different police station areas of the Palamu district.
