CM thanks people of state as Corona recovery rate goes beyond 92 percent

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said that the recovery rate among Coronavirus patients is above 92 percent in the state which was far ahead of the national average.

He said that the mortality rate in Jharkhand was 0.87 percent which was half of the national average. He said that the state was also ahead in the area of testing from several big and developed states including Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, etc and was among the top 8 ranked states which were conducting tests on a per lakh population basis.

The Chief Minister said that the achievement has been achieved due to the cooperation of the people. He said that people of the state have set an example before the country.

He said that to keep the people safe and win the battle against Coronavirus the state government had to take some strict decisions but the manner in which the people have stood with the government they should be appreciated for that. However he said that danger is not yet over and asked the people to wear masks in this festival season.
