Sahebganj: Two people including a woman and a jawan of the home guard were murdered in separate incidents that took place under different police station areas of this district.
On Thursday body of a woman was found on the roadside under Borio Police Station area. From next to the body a two year girl child was also found. The girl was alive and had sustained injuries, she was later admitted for treatment at Borio Hospital.
SDPO Ashish Vijay Kujur said that it appears that the woman was murdered at some other place and later her body was thrown in the area. He said that the condition of the girl child was also serious. The identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained.
On the other hand following a land dispute, a jawan of the home guard was beaten to death while his wife and father sustained serious injuries and have been admitted at the Sadar Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Shyamlal Hansda (40). The incident took place under Mirzachowki Police Station area. Police later sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem. Further probe was on.
