Chatra (RP Service): An area commander of the Tritiya PrastutiCommittee (TPC) was arrested from the Dandarkala village located under Manatu Police Station area with the support of Palamu Police. Addressing a press conference here Chatra SP Akhilesh P Beriyer said that the arrested area commander has been identified as Prashant from whose possession Rs 34,000 in cash and three mobile phones have been recovered.
He said that in the last three years a total of 14 cases are registered against him in separate police station areas of this district apart from that different cases are also registered against him related to murder, encounter, arsoning, levy etc in Katkamdag, Keredari and Katkamsandi Police Station areas of Hazaribagh district. Mr. Beriyer said that collection of levy was his main work and he was also a named accused in the murder of scribe Chandan Tiwari
