Heavy rainfall predicted in some districts on I-Day

The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall in some of the districts on the occasion of Independence Day.

According to the report of the local Met Department on August 15 and 16 in Southern regions of the state including East and West Singhbhum, Simdega and Saraikela in one or two places heavy to very heavy rainfall will take place whereas in the state capital the weather is likely to remain cloudy and medium range of rainfall is expected.

The weatherman said that low pressure is currently built over the Bay of Bengal and Orissa and its impact would be visible in the state for the next three days. On August 17 also in the Northern regions of the state including Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar, Lohardaga, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, and Sahibanj districts in one or two places heavy rainfall will take place.

As per the prediction made by the weather department from August 15 to 17 in almost all the districts light to medium rainfall will take place coupled with thundering. In the state capital of Ranchi on 16th and 17th in one or two spells light to medium rainfall has been also predicted.
