LJP demands Dhanbad & Chatra Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand

Ranchi: With the Lok Sabha polls due in 2019 the political parties have commenced their pressure politics especially in the NDA where its ally the Lok Janshakti Party has demanded two Lok Sabha seats that of Dhanbad and Chatra from the BJP in the polls. Addressing a press conference here state LJP president Virendra Pradhan said that his party was strong with the NDA but wanted that the voices of LJP leaders and party workers should also be heard. 

He said that the party was also aiming to contest at least two dozen seats in the Jharkhand Assembly polls regarding which the central leadership of the party has been already informed. Adding further he said that in the last one and a half month 60,000 new members have been made and by December the target to make 1.25 lakh new members would be completed. He said that after assuming charge he has made all organizations and morchas of the party active and full-fledged organization will be soon visible on the ground.

Mr. Pradhan said that on November 28 the party would be celebrating its foundation day regarding which a function would be organized at the Vidhan Sabha Auditorium in which a large number of people will join the membership of the party and similar functions would also be held in other districts of the state.
