Bamboo work of Jharkhand huge hit among visitors at IITF

Ranchi: The eco-friendly products made from bamboo from Jharkhand are drawing a large number of visitors to the state pavilion at the India International Trade Fair. The items made from bamboo are not only long lasting but are also eco-friendly and the items which
are being made from bamboo are priced between Rs 100 to Rs 350.

A good seller at the pavilion said that visitors are showing a keen interest in the products and said that in one month alone he is able to make business sof Rs 5-6 lakh. One Shakuntala Devi of Vishunpur from Gumla district who has also put up her stall at the venue she said that through her business of spices she has made many women stand on their field as they are able to make a business of Rs 10-12 lakh per year.
