Gumla: Body of a woman in her mid-forties was recovered from a paddy field under Kamdara Police Station area of this district. The deceased has been identified as Nanki Topno (45) a resident of Raikera Gongar Toli. Family members of the deceased said that the woman who was also a regular drinker was missing from her home for the last two days.
On the other hand, police said that the body of the victim appears to two days old and it is suspected the first the woman was raped and later she was strangulated to death and her body was dumped in the fields however only a post-mortem would bring out the real truth police said adding that the body
