Jamshedpur: An Assistant Sub Inspector of Police shot himself with his service revolver inside his flat located at the Golmuri Police Lines of the East Singhbhum district.
The deceased ASI has been identified as Tarun Pandey who shot himself in his flat number 303. The police officer was in home quarantine.
After hearing gunshots his wife and neighbours rushed to the spot only to find Tarun laying in a pool of blood in his home. It is being suspected that over a family feud the man committed suicide.
Neighbours said that Tarun had been married a month earlier and had recently shifted with his wife in the flat.
