Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Police on Thursday claimed to have cracked the case related to the murder of BJP worker cum lawyer Prakash Yadav as it arrested three culprits including the main conspirator.
Briefing the press Jamshedpur SSP Dr M Tamilvahnan said that on the night of July 21 BJP worker cum lawyer Prakash Yadav a resident of Birsanagar zone one was murdered after which next day the brother of the deceased registered a fir following which a team under City SP Subhash Chandra Jaat was constituted which arrested the accused and also seized the arm which was used in the killing.

The SSP said that the main accused Amulyo Karmakar along with Vishwanath Munda and Ram Ravidas hatched the conspiracy and Karmakar promised the duo Rs 3 lakh for killing Yadav and an initial payment of Rs 20,000 was made which was also recovered by the police.
Detailing further Dr Tamilvahnan said on the night of July 21 while Prakash was coming towards his home while talking on phone Munda and Ravidas hit on his head with a rod due to which he fell unconscious after which the duo slit his throat. The SSP said that Karmakar has criminal past and three cases are registered against him at Birsanagar Police Station.
