Guv asks MLAs to rise above political affiliation to further accelerate development of Jharkhand

 Ranchi: On the occasion of the 18th foundation day of the Jharkhand Assembly Governo  Draupadi Murmu urged the MLAs to rise above their political affiliation in order to further push up the development process in the state. Addressing a function organised on this occasion at the Vidhan Sabha here she said that day by day the aspirations of the people are increasing and there was a need to self inspection and think as to how much the aspirations have been fulfilled.

She said that the 3.25 crore people not only watches the acts of the legislators but also keeps an eye on the development happening at the national and international level and compares the work being done for them. She said that since the Vidhan Sabha was the highest representative body in the state, therefore, fulfilling the aspirations of the people was their prime objective and they should keep an eye on the raking of the executive and remain aware and alert towards the problems of the people.

Ms. Murmu said that people elected the MLA of an area with great hopes and aspirations and the representatives are responsible for solving their problems and development of the area. She said that the assembly and the parliament are responsible for pushing up the development of the state and the nation and the MLAs and the members of the cabinet should always remember that.
