Shops to remain closed for three days in Jharkhand due to Covid 19

Ranchi (IANS):  The shops will remain closed for three days in weekend in Jharkhand due to rising Coronavirus cases in the state.

Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) in a press conference here on Tuesday announced the three day closure.

“ After discussion with the shop owner, the FJCCI has decided to close the shops for three days- Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the state due to rising Coronavirus cases.  Livelihood is also necessary with life” said Kunal Ajmani, president of FJCCI. He said “ we appeal trader to follow to break the Coronavirus chain”.

In last 24 hours six death have been reported and more than 225 people have been found Coronavirus positive.

As per the data provided by the health department, the number of active cases in the state are  2,889. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 55 and the number of Coronavirus positive has cr0ssed 5700 mark.

In last 24 hours maximum number of 71 cases were reported in Ranchi district followed by 35 in Garhwa district
