Chief Secretary directs to appoint TET pass teachers instead jailed para teachers

Ranchi (By our correspondent): Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi has directed all the DCs commence the process of
sacking all the para teachers who are lodged in jail for spreading hooliganism and those who have been named in the fir and instead appoint TET pass teachers. 

He also asked the SPs to make sure that all the para teachers who have been named in the fir and are evading arrest should be arrested without any delay. The instructions were issued during a video conferencing with the officials at the project building here. He clearly said that there would be no change in the last date which has been set for the para teachers to return
back to their jobs.

He said that he has received information that such para teachers who are wanting to return are being threatened and fine of Rs 1000 is being imposed on them and assured that such para teachers should be given protection for which control
room will be set up at district and sub divison level. Mr Tripathi asked Principal Secretary of HRD AP Singh said that government teachers should not be deputed to other schools and instead educated people in the school management committee can
be hired to teach and paid honorarium as that of para teachers.

He also asked to take legal action against those who are working as para teachers in Palamu Giridih Hazaribagh Chatra Dumka and Garhwa districts. He also asked the officials to soon commence the process of buying blankets for the poor and complete the purchase of blankets by middle of December so that they can be distributed among the poor. Mr Tripathi asked the officials to take action against non banking companies who are duping people of their hard earned money. He said that police stations should collect information about such companies and asked to include the officials of RBI appointed officials in the DLCC meetings. 

He asked the DCs to keep the relief works on in the area as per the need in wake of drought. He said that district administration will make sure that no one dies of hunger for which at every panchayat Rs 10000 has been provided while for drinking water Rs 100 crore has been released. He said that for Rabi season the farmers are being provided seeds at subsidy of 90 percent and it should be ensured that farmers get the real benefits. In the meeting ADG R K Mallik said that from December 1 new rules for operating drones would come into effect.
