But fearing protests of the people police since Saturday evening was deployed in the area. On Sunday morning near Bhuiyaandih, JP Bus Terminal and near the burning Ghat policemen under Magistrate were deployed and all of them had been given PPE kits.

As soon as the team of the administration reached the Ghat along with the bodies locals including women started gathering in large numbers and protested against the cremation claiming that Coronavirus will spread in their areas.

The officials tried to convince them but it failed to yield results. As things out of hand people indulged in stone-pelting after which police were forced to use mild force to remove the crowd from the area.
