Goods train divides into two as coupling breaks in Koderma

Koderma (RP Service): A major train accident was averted on the Dhanbad-Gaya rail section when a goods train which was coming on the up-line got divided into two near Tilkori Railway Gate. Due to the incident, the guard along with 30 bogies of the trains were detached. Immediately the driver of the train applied the brakes despite that the main train with the bogie had moved ahead by another 100 meters.

Due to the incident train traffic movement on the upline was hit for 30 minutes. The goods train carrying coal was coming from Asansol after the guard and the driver reconnected the coupling the train moved ahead further to its original destination.
