Absence of Lalu Yadav would be badly missed in Bihar polls: Subodhkant Sahai

Ranchi: Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Subodhkant Sahai said that if RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav fails to come out of jail his absence would be badly missed in the Bihar assembly elections.

Talking to the press after meeting Mr Yadav in RIMS he said that since Lalu Yadav was his old friend, therefore, he had done to meet him, moreover after the new government came into power he was not able to meet Lalu Yadav. He downplayed any rumours over his plans of contesting the elections in the neighbouring state.

Mr Sahai said that for more than three years he worked to bring all the anti-BJP forces under the banner of Congress which ultimately led to the removal of BJP from Jharkhand time has come for similar struggle and movement in Bihar.

He said that the present state government in Jharkhand was doing a good job in handling the  Coronavirus crisis. The Senior Congress leader said that wherever he would get an opportunity he would work against the BJP.
