Ranchi: The Ranchi Civil court issued a notice to former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdulla and asked him to appear before the court in person on December 4 or present his side through his lawyers.
The court of principal judge of the civil court Navneet Kumar issued the notice to the former Chief Minister after lawyer Ranjeet Kumar Singh had filed a petition against his anti-national comments which the leader of the National Conference party had made while addressing a function in Uri of Baramulla district of North Kashmir in the month November 2017. In his petition, Ranjeet had said that the comments of Mr Abdullah were anti-national and were went to damage the morale of the soldiers.
