Congress organises dharna against lathi charge on para teachers & media persons

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee organised statewide dharna protesting against the police lathi charge on para teachers and media persons in the state.

JPCC spokesperson Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo said in support of the demands of the para teachers the dharna was staged and a memorandum addressed to the Governor was given to the DC of the area concerned. Through the memorandum the party has demanded that the sacked para teachers be taken back in their jobs, they should also be made permanent and action be taken against the officials responsible for lathi charge on para teachers and media persons.
