Giridih: Two people including a railway staff was killed in an accident that took place on the NH-2 under Nimiyaghaat Police Station area of this district.
Police said that the duo were run over by a speeding unidentified vehicle. Post the incident the vehicle driver fled from the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Ranjit Kumar Rana and Tripurari Singh who hailed from Dhamna village under Chouparan Police Station area of Hazaribagh district.
The duo were travelling towards Gomoh when their bike was hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle due to which they died on the spot. Tripurari Singh was a loco driver in railways while Rana worked as an outsourcing employee in BCCL.
