Daltonganj (By our correspondent): Police has arrested 16 para teachers from Tahkurbadi located at Redma under Daltonagnj
Town Police Station area of the Palamu district while they were planning to create obstacles in the Chief Minister’s programme
scheduled in the district on Monday.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday will be stage a chupal at the Palamu police stadium and will hold directed interaction with the people. In wake of the visit of Mr Das, the administration has commenced preparations including construction of pandal at the venue.
A group of more than 100 para teachers were staging meeting in the Thakurbadi premises to chalk out their strategy to protest against the visit. However, after the police got information about their act a raid was conducted and 16 were nabbed while many others managed to flee somehow. One of the para teachers later said that on Monday at any cost the visit of the Chief Minister will be protested and no matter how much the administration tries their agitation will not stop.
