Ranchi (By our correspondent): A meeting of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee was today held at the Vidhan Sabha auditorium here which was chaired by state unit chief of the party Dr Ajay Kumar and was attended by the AICC appointed observer for the people contact programme Ajay Sharma.
Addressing the meeting Dr Kumar said that as part of preparations for Mission 2019 preparations has been made by the party to give responsibility to the booth level workers as part of which in villages at voting centers meeting with villagers would be held and at every booth committee of five members will be formed. He said that all units of the party will be linked with this scheme and would be given responsibilities.
Congress legislature wing leader Aalamgir Aalam said that as per need the party takes decision to strengthen its organization and the people contact programme is being organised on the directions of the nation leadership of the party in which the support and cooperation of people would be taken and they would be linked with the party. AICC appointed observer Ajay Sharma said that party workers should reach to the polling stations and visit the villages as any kind of negligence will not be tolerated. Those present in the meeting also included former Union Minister Sunodhkant Sahai and Rameshwar Oraon, former MPs Furkaan Ansari and Kameshwar Baitha and other senior leaders of the party.
