AJSU condemns attack on media, calls for probe by retd high court judge

Ranchi: The AJSU party today condemned the police attack on the media persons during the state foundation day function at the Morhabadi grounds. Party’s central spokesperson Dr Devsharan Bhagat said that attack on media which is the fourth pillar of
democracy was a sabotage on the democratic values, he said adding that incidents like this which took place in front of the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and senior officials of the police administration is an unfortunate and a serious issue. The party has demanded that a committee be formed under a retired judge of the high court which should conduct a probe and immediate action should be also taken against the culprit policemen and the officials.
