Wife of late MP Teklal Mahto dead

Ranchi: Lakeshwari Devi wife of late Giridih MP Teklal Mahto passed away here.

She was 75. She breathed her last at the residence of her son and Mandu MLA Jai Prakash Bhai Patel. Her last rites were performed in the ancestral village of Chano located under Bishnugarh block of Hazaribagh district.

Meanwhile, leaders of the Jharkhand BJP led by state unit Chief Deepak Prakash have expressed their grief over the passing away of the mother of the party MLA. Mr Prakash has prayed to the almighty to give strength to the family to overcome the loss.

Those who also expressed their grief included leader of legislature wing Babulal Marandi, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Union Minister Arjun Munda and other MPs and MLAs of the party.
