Announcements made on state formation day remain confine to papers only alleges JVM(P)

Ranchi (By our correspondent): Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) said that despite lavish celebrations every year on the occasion of the state formation day the event just remains confined to the status of being any other ordinary function. Party’s central spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh said that on the occasion of the state formation day there was a need for the government to review whether the promises which it makes of launching and inaugurating schemes on that day are even realized on the ground or not or whether the people are able to get the benefits of the previously announced schemes.

He said that after 2014 the present state government has celebrated three state formation days and a look at the announcements made on that occasion will highlight that the majority of the schemes remained in the air while those few which managed to see the light of the day failed to be realized on the ground.

Mr Singh said that the state government had also promised to make Jharkhand the first choice of investors and identify one lakh hectares of land for the business houses, therefore, the state government should come out with a white paper over how much investment has been made in the state, how much land was allotted to other house and what are the benefits being enjoyed by the people. Mr Singh said that the announcements of the state government are just visible on paper while the state government was just patting its back.
