Lambodar Mahto asks state govt to go soft on demands of para teachers

Ranchi (By our correspondent): AJSU party’s central general secretary Dr Lambodar Mahto condemned the police atrocities on the para teachers of the state and suggested to the state government to adopt a sympathetic approach towards their demands instead of using force against them.

Dr Mahto said that there was a need to understand their problems and unless their issues are seriously taken up they can not be assured of justice. He said that the arrest of the para teachers by the police is also not justified and the state government should refrain from such acts and said that just by using force the para teachers will not step back from their agitation. He said that the act of the police will also increase the anger among the common people and urged the government to adopt a sensible approach towards the demands of the para teachers.

Mr Mahto said that for the last 15 years these people have been working in the far-flung villages of the state and are working on very less honorarium despite the odd circumstances, therefore, their needs need to be realized instead of using force against them. Announcements made on state formation day remain to confine to papers only alleges JVM(P)
