Hazaribagh: The Hazaribagh district administration has sealed the village of the state’s second Coronavirus patient located in Bishnugarh block of this district.
On Thursday the 52 year old man hailing from the village had tested positive for Coronavirus. He had returned from Asansol of West Bengal. The population of the village is about 5,000.
Hazaribagh DC Bhunesh Pratap Singh said that apart from sealing the village the security has been increased. He said that screening of all the villagers will be undertaken by the health staff whereas the patient is currently at Hazaribagh Medical College Hospital.
The administration has also launched sanitization drive in the village. Efforts were also on to trace the people with whom he had contact after coming back to the village.
