Two ultras of JJMP arrested from Latehar, PLFI cadre nabbed from Chaibasa

Latehar/Chaibasa: A couple of ultras belonging to Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad have been arrested from Latehar district while an operative of the PLFI has been nabbed from the West Singhbhum district.

Police said that Latehar SP Prashant Anand had received a tip-off that a couple of ultras belonging to JJMP were moving in Mahuadand Police Station area to collect levy after which a police team swung into action and arrested the duo from Birsa Chowk.

The arrested have been identified as Jitendra Ram alias Raju and Neeraj Kumar. From the arrested Rs 20,000 collected as levy, a bike and a couple of mobiles have been recovered.

Meanwhile, from Tebo Police Station area of the West Singhbhum district, a PLFI ultra Hazra Rugu has been nabbed. Chaibasa SP Inderjeet Mahtha said that the ultra is a key associate and squad member of PLFI squad led by commanders Sanichar Surin and Champa alias Dadu Nag
