JVM(P) accuses BJP govt of playing with security of Babulal Marandi

Ranchi (By our correspondent): The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) has accused the state government of playing with the security cover of its supremo and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi during his recent visit to Chatra district. Party’s central
spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh said that it appears that the BJP government wants to deliberately put his life into danger. He said that the role adopted by the district administration to fill petrol in the vehicles of the carcade points to a bigger conspiracy.

On the other hand, Mr. Marandi said that it appears to be a deliberate attempt on the part of the government to put my life in danger. He said that whether they give me security or not it will not prevent him from reaching out to the people. The entire episode appears to be a conspiracy hatched to prevent me from reaching to the people as the administration wanted to make sure that the programme at the venue is a flop, he said that since he keeps raising his voice against all the wrong acts of the state government, therefore, all possible methods are being used to suppress his voice.

Mr. Marandi was today scheduled to leave from Chatra circuit house at 1000hrs as he was to reach Lawalong which is a hotbed for the Maoists but as the district administration delayed supplying the fuel he was forced to travel to the area in a private vehicle leaving his security behind.
