3 bike lifters gang arrested by Latehar police with 19 motorcycles

Latehar: The Latehar police has arrested three members of an inter-district vehicle lifter and recovered a total of 19 motorcycles from their possession. Addressing a press conference here Latehar SP Prashant Anand said following a secret tip off these arrests were made. He said that the gang members use to steal these bikes from Ranchi, Palamu, and Latehar and later the same were sold
in the rural areas with the help of fake documents between Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000.

A team under the officer incharge of Chippadohar Police Station was formed which managed to arrest Mishri Singh, Sukan Singh, and Bipin Bihari Singh and based on the inputs provided by them these bikes were recovered. The SP said that the gang is headed by one Sandeep Oraon of Ranchi and few other members of the gang are still absconding who would be named soon.

Mr. Anand said that all the members who were part of the team which cracked the case will be awarded.
