It is for government to decide as how they want to run the house: Marandi

Ranchi: Former Chief Minister and leader of legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi said that it is the responsibility for the state government to run the house in a proper manner and BJP was ready to work as an effective opposition.

However, he said that the intention of the state government was not correct and to hide their failures it was taking decisions in a haste. He said that one can not expect any new schemes from this government as it was closing the pro-people schemes due to which anger had increased among the people. 

He said that the government has become a failure on law and order and incidents of rape, murders have increased. He said that the government remained silent over massacre of tribals while the Lohardaga incident exposed the government.

Marandi said that Congress, RJD and JMM should take out their manifestos and fulfill the promises made to the people but instead the Chief Minister was making the excuse that exchequer was empty.

He said that as an effective opposition the party will asking the government to fulfill the promises made to the people. Over the leader of the opposition, he said that it is for the speaker to decide that he was only fulfilling the responsibility which was given to him by the MLAs.
