Congress attacks BJP’s over second anniversary of demonetization

Ranchi (By our correspondent): The Jharkhand Congress mocked the silence of the BJP and its leaders on the second anniversary of
demonetization and sought answers as to why the BJP has the habit of celebrating every single occasion or another was silent over the issue. 

Addressing a press conference at the JPCC headquarters here Congress legislature wing leader Aalamgir Aalam said that he was surprised not to see any advertisement or function organised on the second anniversary of demonetization in the state. He said that BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi can forget this scam but people will not. He sought answers from the BJP as to for whose benefit the order of banning the notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 was taken.

He said that it was highly unacceptable to spend Rs 7965 crore hard earned money of the people for printing of the new notes despite the fact that out of Rs 15.44 lakh crore rupee 15.31 lakh crore had come back in the banking system.
