Four incident of fire on Diwali in Palamu

Daltonganj (RP Service): In four incidents of fire which took place under different police station areas of the Palamu district losses worth lakh was caused. In the first incident, a fire took place in a motor parts shop located at Redma in which the shop was completely gutted. It is suspected the diyas which lightened up on the occasion must have ignited the fire.

In another incident under Patan block, a cylinder blast took place in Pahle Khurd village and post the incident fire spread in which the homes of Ravindra Ram and Rahul Ram were destroyed. The local administration has made arrangements for their accommodation at the local school and has provided them foodgrains for the time being. The families would be paid compensation after making an assessment of the losses.

In the fourth incident property and valuables were destroyed as fire occurred in the house of Ramu Dubey.
